LAK 20

The LAK-20 is the newest "Sportine Aviacija" project currently under development and construction.

The LAK-20 is an open class two-seat glider designed to meet the latest standards of the gliding industry. The glider is of normal aerodynamic configuration with "T" tail and wings slightly swept forward. Due to interchangeable wingtips, it can be flown with 23m or 26m wingspan. Our latest achievements in engineering and aerodynamics allowed us to design a wing with very high aspect ratio, which made it possible to improve glider performance to new levels. The wing consists of four pieces - two centre section panels and two outer wing panels.

The glider is made of modern composite materials using already known LAK brand technologies such as the use of pultruded carbon rods for the wing spar construction.

The LAK-20 construction allows installation of a power plant. Both self-launching and self-sustaining versions are planned, using a SOLO 2625 01 or SOLO 2350 engine respectively.
